Ahmad Abdul Karim, MD is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. His specialties include:

    With nearly two decades of experience delivering advanced, patient-centered care for complex heart rhythm disorders. He is nationally recognized for his clinical expertise, procedural excellence, and leadership in building and expanding comprehensive electrophysiology programs. He has extensive experience in advanced catheter ablation techniques, cardiac implantable electronic devices, lead extraction, and complex device management. His practice emphasizes evidence-based care, precision procedures, and thoughtful shared decision-making with patients and families. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Abdul Karim has held multiple leadership roles within large healthcare systems, including serving as Director of Electrophysiology and participating in medical executive and quality committees. He is known for his ability to develop high-functioning multidisciplinary teams, optimize procedural workflows, and expand access to advanced electrophysiology services across hospital networks. Dr. Abdul Karim is also an active innovator and inventor, with multiple patents focused on improving transseptal access and procedural safety in electrophysiology. His work reflects a deep commitment to advancing the field through thoughtful innovation while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and outcomes. He earned his medical degree and completed advanced fellowship training in cardiac electrophysiology, achieving Fellow status in the Heart Rhythm Society (FHRS). Dr. Abdul Karim remains actively engaged in continuing medical education, quality improvement initiatives, and mentoring physicians and trainees.
