That’s why we welcome visitors at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth La Grange and strive to make our hospital a place where you'll always find comfort and compassion.
Our La Grange hospital visiting hours are 5 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday, and 6:30 am to 4 pm on Saturday. Sunday and Holiday hours are 7 am – 4 pm. Our Visitor Services
- General Visiting Guidelines

- Visiting hours are:
- Monday – Friday, 5 am – 7 pm
- Saturday, 6:30 am – 4 pm
- Sunday and Holidays, 7 am – 4 pm
- All visitors are to enter the main entrance and check in with the front desk. After hours, inpatient visitors to enter through the Emergency Department Entrance. Facilities are available 24/7 to visitors of patients or residents, but preferable visitation is during the day to support a restful healing at night.
- Minor visitors under 12 years of age shall be accompanied by an adult, other than the patient, at all times.
- All visitors are expected to comply with hand hygiene. Visitors should not visit if they have any symptoms of respiratory or other viral illness, as well as those who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days.
- We ensure all visitors enjoy full and equal visitation privileges consistent with the patient or resident’s preferences, and each patient or resident and/or their Legally Authorized Person(s) has the right to consent, withdraw consent or decline visitors.
Special Guidelines in Place for:
- La Grange 5 East Rehabilitation – visiting hours are 12 pm – 8 pm
Entrance 2: Outpatient Pavilion
Use Entrance 2 for the Center for Advanced Joint Replacement, Heart and Vascular, and Wound Care Center.

The UChicago Medicine AdventHealth La Grange dining room is on the ground level of Building B. In addition to vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, our dining room also serves daily soup and grill specials, as well as fresh salad and fruit.

If you need spiritual support when you are visiting UChicago Medicine AdventHealth La Grange, we are here to help. Whether you or a patient you are visiting are experiencing emotional distress, or you just feel like you could benefit from the power of prayer, spiritual help is available.
We are here to help you keep your faith during times of illness and injury. Patients and their families may request a visit from the chaplain at any time during their stay. UChicago Medicine AdventHealth La Grange chaplains are on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To request a chaplain visit, ask your nurse for assistance or call 708-245-3920.
Our spiritual services include:
- Bedside visits and prayers
- Grief support groups
- Healing art and music
- Referrals to community clergy
- Spiritual guidance, counseling and crisis ministry
- Worship and devotion services in our chapel
We can also assist with advance directives and facilitate medical and ethical decision-making.
- Pharmacy

Get fast, personalized service and consultations at the UChicago Medicine AdventHealth La Grange pharmacy. It is similar to a retail pharmacy, but with a smaller volume that allows for quicker and more personal care. We accept most insurance plans and you do not need to be a hospital patient to receive pharmacy services.
Our pharmacy services include:
- Bedside delivery (meds-to-beds) upon discharge
- Communicating with your healthcare providers
- Computerized, personal patient profiles
- Explaining medication and health condition interactions
- Home delivery of medications
- Patient and family medication education
- Prescription transfers
- Prescriptions and refills
- Providing information on Medicare Part D
