About Our Program
The UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook PGY-1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency provides professional development at a health system outpatient pharmacy with a Specialty Pharmacy focus. The resident will have the opportunity to rotate through various outpatient ambulatory clinics such as oncology, rheumatology, gastroenterology and medication therapy management. The resident will develop and implement sustainable, pharmacy-driven outpatient clinical services, optimize patient care outcomes through medication therapy management and drug education, practice leadership and develop independent learning skills.
