First-Year Resident
Dr. Schafer grew up in Lisle and Naperville, IL. He graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a B.S. in Biochemistry and attended Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school. His passion for family medicine stems from his desire to provide phenomenal care to patients of all ages. He uses a patient-centered approach, with active listening and thorough attention to detail, to address both medical and psychosocial issues.
In his free time, he enjoys nature walks, video games, and spending time with his wife.
