First-Year Resident
Dr. Alexa Freitag is a resident physician at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale Family Medicine Residency. She grew up in Arlington Heights, Illinois. She earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Taylor University in Indiana and attended Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school. Dr. Freitag has a special interest in maternal and child health. She values family medicine for its longitudinal approach to care, whole-person perspective, and patient-centered practice. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, tending to her plants, and spending time with her husband.
