Dr. Bockhold is the current chair of the Illinois Academy of Family Physicians Family Medicine Educators Committee. Dr. Bockhold absolutely loves being a teacher to both residents and medical students, and can’t imagine a better job! Clinically, Dr. Bockhold loves providing full-scope medical care to patients of all ages but has a special place in her heart for pediatrics, women’s health and preventative medicine. Dr. Bockhold continues to practice full-scope family medicine and truly loves being able to do “everything!”

When not at work, Dr. Bockhold loves spending time with her husband and 2 young daughters. She is a voracious reader and will basically read whatever she can get her hands on (except horror—too scary!). She also loves gardening, hiking/walking, playing the piano, traveling and cooking/baking.
