Baby Care 101 Hinsdale - In-Person Event

In our baby care basics class, parents use dolls to practice feeding, umbilical cord care, diapering, and bathing. They also learn how swaddling can comfort a fussy baby, how to reduce the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and how to recognize signs of illness. The class also teaches the latest recommendations for car seat safety. We recommend that this class be completed about one month prior to your due date.

Registration is required. Please include your email and a contact number when registering. There is a $40 fee for this class

This class will be held in the main hospital. Park in the parking garage and follow signs to the Oak Elevators. Take the Oak elevators to B1. Follow signs for the Regnery Auditorium.

Please have on hand the following:

• A baby doll/stuffed animal
• A swaddle/receiving blanket
• 2 baby diapers
• A baby bottle

Mask are optional.
